Our hat project started out like many others, because we wanted one. We chose to do a taller style "Beehive" type hat as can be seen worn by both soldiers and civilians alike in many period images. There are a few options available to customize a hat to your liking. We can make them in either a wool or fur felt with several color options to pick from. Fur is a bit more expensive but makes a finer hat. You can also choose to have them lined in silk or cotton.
